Vlahović will lower his wage demands for Barça. The club is still waiting for a miracle
Dušan Vlahović is willing to earn less in order to join Barcelona. According to Gerard Romero, the Serbian is demanding a significantly higher salary from Turkish clubs than he would from Barça. He is a free agent after leaving Juventus, meaning Barcelona would not even need to negotiate with another club. They only need to convince themselves, which may prove more difficult.
Julián Álvarez remains the priority, despite Atlético refusing to sell him. Barça then turned to Eli Junior Kroupi, only for Bournemouth to reportedly reject two offers. Now an experienced striker is available on a free transfer and prepared to reduce his demands. It sounds almost too sensible, so Barcelona are currently just monitoring the situation.
Barça Universal reports that the club have not opened negotiations with Vlahović yet. He could become a fallback option if the more complicated deals collapse. After all, why sign an available striker now when you can spend the entire summer chasing the unavailable ones?
