Koundé’S Agent Spotted at Barça Training Ground

Jules Koundé’s agent Jonathan Kebe visited Barcelona’s Ciutat Esportiva on Wednesday afternoon, with Jijantes capturing his arrival and Mundo Deportivo reporting it at 17:21 CEST. There is no confirmation yet regarding the purpose of the meeting, so it should not be treated as evidence of transfer negotiations. 

The timing is still worth watching. Koundé only returned to training on Tuesday, while Barça are increasingly considering using him at centre-back following Ronald Araújo’s departure. Mundo Deportivo also notes that Bayern Munich, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City have all monitored the French defender. Koundé remains under contract until 2030 and has publicly expressed his intention to stay. 

So, for now, this is an agent visit rather than a transfer alarm. But Barcelona are reshaping their defence, and apparently even a player tied down until 2030 can still produce a small afternoon mystery at the training ground.
