Lamine Is Back on the Grass — with the Ball Already Out
Lamine Yamal completed his first on-pitch session since returning from his post-World Cup break on Wednesday evening. He had stayed away from the grass during the morning work, but later returned to the pitch and even trained with the ball. Mundo Deportivo updated the report at 22:40 CEST.
It was not a full-intensity team session. Lamine followed a specific individual programme as Barcelona carefully reintegrate their Spanish internationals after the World Cup.
So there is no need for the usual August miracle story about him being ready to play 90 minutes tomorrow. But the first step is done: gym in the morning, grass and ball in the evening. Flick has his biggest attacking weapon back at work; now comes the less glamorous part of actually getting him ready.
