Barça Plan Four More Signings – the Names Can Come Later
Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi have already joined Barcelona, but the club are reportedly only getting started. According to Gerard Romero, Barça expect to complete at least four more signings before the transfer window closes. Nobody knows who they are or which positions they would fill. The important thing is that the number has already been decided.
Such ambitious recruitment will require departures first. Marc-André ter Stegen, Marc Casadó and Ronald Araújo are among the players facing uncertain futures. The plan is simple: find buyers, create space in the squad and budget, and then begin working on four transfers whose details currently exist mainly in the imagination of the Barcelona media.
Julián Álvarez reportedly remains one of the priorities, even though Atlético continue to refuse negotiations. Barça have once again built a plan that depends on other clubs, their own players agreeing to leave and their main target suddenly changing the situation. Four signings sound impressive. For now, the only things moving closer to Barcelona are four more rumours.
