Barça Ready for Rodri

Barcelona are closely monitoring Rodri Hernández’s situation. According to Nil Solà, speaking on SER Catalunya’s „El Larguero”, the club would be ready to make a concrete move if the Manchester City midfielder showed a willingness to join Barça. Solà also claims the Catalans would be financially capable of completing the transfer.

Real Madrid are currently making the more advanced moves, while Barcelona remain in their favourite position: alert, interested and fully prepared, without actually submitting an offer. Everything depends on Rodri, Manchester City, the asking price, the contract and probably several other minor details the club can explain later.

The plan is simple. Rodri must first decide that he wants Barça, City must agree to negotiate, and the numbers must somehow add up. Only then will Barcelona „make their move”. Until that happens, the transfer looks perfectly realistic — mostly because nobody has had to pay for it yet.
