Endrick to Arsenal? Romano dismisses transfer reports
Fabrizio Romano has dismissed reports linking Endrick with Arsenal. Real Madrid reportedly intend to keep the Brazilian in José Mourinho’s squad.
Endrick had already been handed another possible destination by the transfer rumour mill. Fabrizio Romano’s response was considerably shorter: the Arsenal reports are false, and the Brazilian is not available.
“Fake news. Endrick is not on the market,” the journalist said, as reported by Bernabéu Digital.
Earlier reports suggested that Arsenal had renewed contact over the striker. CaughtOffside, citing TEAMtalk, described the London club’s interest amid uncertainty over his opportunities in Madrid’s crowded attack.
There is a fairly basic obstacle to that scenario: the latest reporting says Real Madrid do not intend to let him leave. According to Marca, José Mourinho wants to keep Endrick in his squad, while the player intends to fight for a place in Madrid.
That does not guarantee a starting role or a specific number of minutes. The update concerns his future at the club. Transfer headlines can find a player a new address remarkably quickly, but competition for places is not permission to move.
