Ferran Expected Back in Training as PSG Talks Stall

Ferran Torres is expected to report back to Barcelona training on Wednesday morning alongside Pedri, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo and Pau Cubarsí. According to Mundo Deportivo, Barça and PSG remain in contact, but there has been no agreement or fresh breakthrough since the French club’s opening bid was rejected.

That is a notable change from the previous expectation that PSG would quickly return with an improved offer and potentially complete the deal before Ferran had to rejoin Hansi Flick’s squad. For now, that has not happened. Barcelona continue to demand more than the €40 million initially offered.

So Ferran currently finds himself in a fairly Barcelona-like situation: personally agreed with PSG, but still expected at Barça training. A transfer can be very close right up until somebody has to agree on the actual price.
