Ferran Wants Love. Barça Must Start with Negotiations
Ferran Torres continues his media tour and is making it increasingly clear that Barcelona simply talking about his importance to the team may no longer be enough. Speaking to NBC, he admitted that PSG’s interest is flattering. With a contract still in place at Barça, he can afford to wait and make his own decision.
Sportico then asked him directly what Barcelona must do to keep him. His answer was simple: show that they love him — or at least genuinely want him — enter negotiations and talk things through. In other words, Ferran expects something more concrete than another assurance that he is “an important part of the project” right up until a suitable offer arrives.
Feelings are complicated at Barcelona, as usual. Flick reportedly counts on the player, the club supposedly wants him to stay, yet the door remains open if PSG arrive with enough money. Barça love Ferran. They just need to check how much that love is worth on the transfer market first.
Interestingly, Sportico later removed the video from its social media accounts. The clip disappeared, but Ferran’s message did not. The next move belongs to Barcelona — it is time to turn declarations of affection into actual negotiations.
